I contracted with Remy and his crew at 7&7 Painting to paint a five room rental property I own in Audubon. He did a great job which involved the detailed painting of woodworking found in a house built in 1910. His rate is very reasonable. He is reliable. He left the place very clean. I would highly recommend him.

The crew was punctual arriving five minutes early. Immediately they put down drop cloths to ensure cleanliness. Nery was a good communicator and reviewed what work was needed. The entire crew was polite and affable. Their work was excellent as well. At the conclusion of their work they cleaned up promptly and effectively. The entire crew was efficient and professional. This is how all contractors should operate. Excellent day and stress free throughout. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Nery and his crew; we had a previous contractor come in first and not only botched the job but didn’t finish despite weeks of work, and Nery’s team came in and fixed everything in 4 days. Everyone was punctual, had amazing attention to detail, and was respectful the entire way. Gave plenty of opportunities for feedback and adjustments. Very professional work and included a cleaning service at the end of the job.

Nery and his crew did a fantastic job repairing and staining my deck. He came to give an estimate very quickly, the estimate was extremely competitive, and they were able to get me on the schedule much faster than I expected. They were able to finish the work in one day for the repairs, and less than a full day for staining. Very happy with the work and have already recommended them to my friends!

Nery and his crew went above and beyond for our kitchen renovation! He worked with us every step of the way and our project turned out better than we ever could have expected!! From installing vinyl flooring, repairing drywall, installing kitchen cabinets & countertops, and tiling the backsplash…I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of work! 7&7 Contractors are professional, respectful, and got our project done so fast.
We’ll be recommending them to everyone who needs any home renovations done.

We couldn’t be happier with the work Nery Cano and 7 & 7 Contractors did for us. Nery went above and beyond while repairing water damage in our upstairs hall bathroom and downstairs kitchen. From the very beginning, his professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic were truly first class.

We met with several contractors before choosing Nery, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. He communicated with us throughout the entire project, took pride in his work, and made sure everything was done the right way. The quality of the finished work exceeded our expectations.

If you’re looking for a contractor who is honest, reliable, and genuinely cares about the outcome of your project, we highly recommend Nery Cano and 7 & 7 Contractors. We will absolutely be using him again for our next home improvement project.

Can't say enough good, or great things about them. Quick (to return your calls, and to get the job done) courteous, reliable. More than reasonable. Everything you'd expect from a contractor, but normally don't get from others. Nothing but high praise. Look no further. Total Find!!!

I was looking to get new flooring and paint completed for my dining room. I was initially worried about the cost but 7&7 came out promptly for the estimate, was clear and quick with their estimate, explained everything perfectly and answered all of our questions. Their pricing was very fair and reasonable. They were able to start within a week with easy to follow directions on how we should prepare for their arrival, which was super helpful! Nery and his crew took care to put down floor coverings and plastic to protect surfaces and cabinets, worked diligently and were a joy to have in our home. The end result is amazing and I couldn't be happier. So happy in fact, I'll be having them do the same in my kitchen very soon. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very impressed by both the speed and attention to detail throughout the project. I had my main hallway, plus kitchen and dining areas painted as well as all trim and doors. The end result was very clean work, the job was done right the first time, and I think I got a great value.

Highly recommend.

This company is absolutely fantastic. They are extremely professional, very communicative, and do gorgeous work. They have completed both interior and exterior projects for me at two different properties. One property included painting shutters, bay window overhangs, installation of crown molding, and ceiling paint. Today they just finished another project for me at our new house where they painted our two story foyer, trim, doors, stairs down to the basement, and ceiling. They professionally draped everything prior to the start of the project and cleaned up beautifully at the end as well. We had three different companies come give us quotes and their prices were less than HALF of what the other companies were charging. I absolutely plan to use them again and highly, highly recommend Nery and his fantastic team.

7&7 Construction LLC painted the entire interior of my home, including the walls, ceilings, doors, and trim. I received estimates from four different contractors, and they beat every price by far. They did an excellent job and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. Nery went above and beyond my expectations by even going into my attic to fix a skylight that needed to be reattached. I highly recommend 7&7 Construction LLC for their quality work, attention to detail, and outstanding service.

Nery & his team did an excellent job on our project. We hired them to build custom bookshelves, and from start to finish, they showed great attention to detail and made sure every part of the work met our specifications and requests. They were respectful of our home, professional in every interaction, and took pride in doing the job right. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and would gladly recommend them to others! Included before & after photos.

Love these guys! They helped us get our house ready for sale and their work is beautiful and well-finished. They even went above and beyond and touched up some things we didn't explicitly ask for. They fixed our exterior door frames, painted the doors, patched up some areas inside and outside, power washed our house, re did our floors downstairs and painted our baseboards. Everything was so well done and the guys were very professional. It was easy to schedule with them and they were fast and efficient! Would 100% recommend their services!

7&7, specifically Nery and his guys were absolutely phenomenal to work with. The project was drywall, tape, spackle, and paint for our attic.

The work was great and they went above and beyond to address anything we asked (and even helped with some additional things without question). They showed up on time (if not early) and everything was done effectively and efficiently. They will absolutely be the first company we call for future projects.

Pictures to follow with all of the progress as what we have here is hard to view with the furniture in the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you determine the scope for my kitchen remodel

Approved scope is shaped by layout, measurements, visible conditions, intended use, selected components and budget priorities; these factors determine what work is included in the final contract and schedule. Scope review is part of the in-person evaluation.

What is typically included in a complete kitchen remodel

Scope may coordinate cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, flooring, sinks, lighting, storage and finishes depending on the evaluation and priorities set during planning. Component coordination helps ensure compatible installation and finish transitions.

Can I change my kitchen layout during remodeling

Feasibility depends on dimensions, plumbing and electrical locations, ventilation, structural factors and appliance clearances; these elements determine whether changes such as moving appliances or reconfiguring layouts are practical. Feasibility review occurs during assessment.

How are materials chosen for a kitchen remodel

Material selection weighs durability, cleaning, moisture and heat exposure, compatibility with existing systems and maintenance preferences so finishes meet daily use needs. Practical durability guides recommended options for counters and floors.

How will my home and adjacent areas be protected

Protection includes covering floors, sealing doorways, protecting retained appliances, controlling dust and maintaining tidy staging areas to reduce disruption; these measures support safer, cleaner work without promising a dust-free site. Property protection is standard practice.

How long will a kitchen remodeling project take

Scheduling depends on scope, material lead times, cabinet and countertop coordination, required utility work, discovered conditions and any inspections; these variables influence sequencing and completion windows. Schedule coordination is reviewed before work begins.

Can a small kitchen be remodeled effectively

Yes. Small bathrooms and powder rooms can be remodeled with space-saving vanities, wall-mounted or compact fixtures, larger-format tile and better lighting and ventilation to make the room more practical.

Can I still use my kitchen during remodeling

Kitchen usability during work depends on scope, whether appliances remain, needed utility work and dust control; practical access plans are developed so occupants understand how the space will function while work continues. Usability planning occurs at assessment.
